1 ALS in French from Jan Philip Roothaan, S.J. in Rome to Albert Roothaan acknowledging the receipt of Albert's letters and those of Jesuits in Amsterdam, whom he still claimed did not write him often enough; and telling Albert that Le Comte d'Oultremont was leaving two rolls of stamps for him at the Jesuit College in Liege and that he should get them and take them back to Amsterdam. "..il y avoit des lettres de nos Peres, dont je m'etais plaint dans ma derniere parcequ'ils n'ecrivaient pas.- Bien.- Mais je ne retrache pas ce que j'ai dit alors; ils ecrivent toujours trop rarement et trop peu! Dit-le leur en amitie."
