Wykersloot, thanking Albert for a shipment of tobacco, telling of Mr. de Wilde's receipt of tonsure, sending greetings to Jan J. F. Wap and commenting on his work. "Mr. Wilde a recu la tonsure de Msgr. de Curium. Il va tres bien, et j'espere que ses etudes iront bien aussi. Les Premiers mois il avait trop de choses a voir a Rome; maintenant il va se mettre avec plus d'assiduete aux etudes. Le talent ne le manque pas; et je desire et j'espere qu'il ait un succes brillant comme l'a eu Mr. Borrer, maintenant Prof. a Wyrmond(?)."
