1 ALS in French from Jan Philip Roothaan, S.J. in Rome to Albert Roothaan complaining about lost and delayed mail from Prof. Bak; thanking Albert for looking up Matthias Crus (Kroes); giving recommendation about Chevalier Gramiecia(?), the Consul General from the Holy See on his way to Amsterdam; and wishing Albert luck with his ships. "Que le bon Dieu benisse vos vaisseaux! Comme j'ai presque toujours des amis par mer, et que je prie tous les jours pour les voyageurs par mer, ce sera donc aussi pour vos vaisseaux."
