Container Summary

1 ALS in French from Jan Philip Roothaan, S.J. in Rome to Albert Roothaan mentioning a letter from a cousin Ter Horst, discussing bad news received regarding the Tartiere (?) Bank in Naples and a Mr. Van Aken using a very large quote from an unnamed source, and referring to Prof. David Van Lennep and Prof. Bak. The signature of the letter has been cut out. "Voila tout ce qu'on a pu savoir de cette affaire par une personne qui connoit ces sortes d'affaires et se trouve a Naples. Je n'aime pas d'ecrire de telles affaires; mais il est doublement desagreable de devoir en donner de si mauvaises nouvelles;..."
