1 ALS in French from Jan Philip Roothaan, S.J. in Rome to Albert Roothaan, asking Albert to purchase a book in Latin by (Carolus Augustus?) Lutgert for Jan Philip, Jan Philip being too busy to correspond with Lutgert himself); and discussing a financial donation by Albert to De Krijtberg and other family business matters. "Je vous remercie de la commission aupres de Mr. Lutgert. Cette fois-ci je ne repondrai pas a lui, car je n'ai pas le tems de tenir une correspondance sans necessite. Si vous en avez l'occasion, veuillez le saleur de ma part. Quant il aura imprime ses vers latins, il cous en portera un exemplaire pour moi que je vous prie de payer pour mon compte, et puis de me le faire parvenir."
