Includes correspondence between Cardinal Pacelli (later Pope Pius XII) and members of Georgetown University, particularly the president at the time, Father Arthur A. O’Leary SJ, as well as Genevieve Garvan Brady (Mrs. Nicolas Frederic Brady), the first woman in Georgetown University’s history to receive an honorary degree.
An official program for the Cardinal's honorary degree ceremony is present, along with various newspaper articles and clippings reporting on his arrival in the United States.
