Magruder, Father Pye Neale, Paul Pelz, Riggs and Company, Alice Riggs, Jane Riggs, John Gilmary Shea, Washington Star, U.S. Electric Lighting Company, University of Pennsylvania, and Vassar College.

Included are letters to: Mrs. George R. Goldsborough [Eleanor Agnes Rogers Goldsborough], Ashby, Talbot County, Maryland, dated July 4, 1890 requesting permission for an artist to copy the painting of John Carroll by Gilbert Stuart in her possession; Paul Pelz dated December 26, 1889 and March 30, April 3 and August 17, 1890 relating to work on Riggs Library; the U.S. Electric Lighting Company dated December 30, 1889 stating that the College “will discontinue the regular use of your light after the end of this month” due to “the necessity of retrenching our expenses” and thanking the company for “putting up the line for us one year ago.”
