Inscribed by the composer "à Mlle Hélène Cohn, respectueusement, Massenet 1897." Sent to Vienna on May 17, 1897, from Aix-Les-Bains.

Quotation 2: 3+ measures from Massenet's rendition of "Le sais-tu?" in G Major, lyrics from a poem by Stéphan Bordèse. No location noted and undated, though the song is recorded as having been composed and published in 1880.
