Scope and Contents A collection of the personal papers of Aimee Ernesta Drinker Barlow (1892-1981). Includes autograph memoir, travel diaries (from 1916 and early 1960s), correspondence received from husbands William C. Bullitt (1891-1967), former U.S. ambassador to the Soviet Union; and composer Samuel L.M. Barlow (1892-1982); as well as from admirers including the artist Rockwell Kent (1882-1971). Of note is an almost complete run of mimeographed scripts of NBC Radio broadcasts by Barlow as "Commando Mary"...

Scope and Contents

The collection contains more than twenty World War II-era broadsides, handbills, publications, and other ephemera from various Italian socialist partisan groups. It contains circulars and leaflets that call for solidarity and provide updates on the war and a propaganda photograph (allegedly depicting a fascist torture cell). All materials are published in Italian.

The collection contains over 1,700 photographs and 400 documents recording the history of the De Luca family over 8 decades involving the American Civil War, the unification of Italy, the Japanese invasion of China and the Siege of Peking, and the attack on Pearl Harbor.
