Scope and Contents The collection documents the D.C. Youth Chorale (the official city-wide chorus of the D.C. Public School System) and its director, Edward Jackson, Jr., primarily from the 1960s to the early 1980s. It includes concert programs, advertisements, and newspaper clippings, as well as materials collected for Jackson's application for the 1983-1984 National Teacher of the Year Award.
