Arranged alphabetically by name, correspondents include governors/presidents of Panama, U.S. ministers, consuls and officials to Panama, as well as prominent officers of the Panama Railroad Company. In addition, there is a folder of envelopes addressed to EAD with personalized franks from numerous US congressmen - where identifiable, these are listed by name in the folder description.

Various 19th century British letters, scrapbooks and photograph albums, collected by Prof. John Hirsh.
Contains correspondence sent from various U.S. Governors to William H. Natcher dating primarily to the 1970s and 1980s. Much of the correspondence pertians to the effect of different pieces of legislation on given Governors' home states. In addtion, Congressional appropriations are a frequent topic of discussion. The correspondence is arranged alphabetically by name of Governor.

Also included is reference material and notes kept by CBL for speech writing. Manuscripts and speeches by others are also included in this series, as well as information files used by CBL in preparation for his speeches.
