VHS entitled "Priest of the Poor," a nine minute video that features McKenna discussing So Other Might Eat (SOME) and the House of Ruth with scenes from the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The video was produced by Martin Doblmeier.
Hines incorporated quotations from Doblmeier's work in drafts of what would eventually become "Christ Is with the Poor: Stories and Sayings of Horace McKenna, S.J." (1989), although none were included in the final version.
