The Mencken-Boyd Collection consists of 19 letters from H.L. Mencken to Ernest A. and Madeleine E. Boyd. The letters are arranged in 19 folders and contained in 1 box.
The collection is composed of several short typed manuscripts by Frederiksen discussing his personal history and involvement in the OSS, as well as a variety of recommendations and reports on Frederiksen from colleagues, and one of his jailers. Additional documents include application and reference forms prepared by Frederiksen for the U.S. government, and some correspondence relating to his employment plans after leaving Vienna.
The Alan G. Barnsley Papers consist of eight letters from such prominent writers as Ian Fleming, C.S. Lewis, Muriel Spark and Stephen Spender.

The collection includes that part of Keyserling's papers which relate to his long tenure as legislative aide to Senator Robert F. Wagner. Besides correspondence from Wagner, it contains numerous drafts of bills written by Keyserling, such as the Housing Act of 1937 and the Wagner National Labor Relations Act (present in eight separate drafts), files of campaign speeches, and related material.
