Autograph and typed manuscripts of novels and short stories written by Antonia White. Arranged alphabetically by title.
Series includes White's correspondence with Joseph "Peter" Thorp, who had trained as a Jesuit and reached out to her after reading "Frost in May". The letters dating between 1940 to 1942 were published as "The Hound and the Falcon: the Story of a Reconversion to the Catholic Faith" (1966).
This short series includes correspondence from Kathleen Harriman, the Roosevelts, and Robert Sherwood. The series may very well be considered part two of the preceding series since much of the correspondence to HLH is personal. However, general information is also included on individuals such as FDR and it was deemed more practical to create a separate series in the interest of accessibility. (Box 4, Folders 14-18)
Contains printed event programs and invitations.
Consists of 20 folders containing various manuscripts. Includes some short manuscripts written by Lawrence Gilman, family diaries, and other manuscripts. Lawrence Gilman manuscripts appear first in the series. Gilman family manuscripts appear second.
