Typewritten, carbon on thin orange paper with many positive photostats of text inserted, 246 pages plus, with copious pencil and pen corrections and additions throughout by Emerson. This is a part of Emerson's project entitled: Happy-Go-Lucky. Contained in a Prong Fastener Binder. Includes unusually important account of Emerson's relations with Col. Theodore Roosevelt during Spanish-American War in Cuba.
