This collection contains an oral history interview conducted by John P. Williams with Edward P. O'Connell, SJ. In the three-hour interview, Fr. O'Connell took Williams on a tour of southern Maryland and spoke on the original Jesuit missions there and the foundations of US Catholicism.
This collection contains photographs of Jesuit sites, groups, and individuals in a variety of forms such as cabinet cards, cartes de visite, glass plate negatives, prints, etc.
Note that only the Individual Jesuits series (boxes 25-32) of this collection is currently processed and access to the remainder of the materials may be limited. Researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections for more information on access to this collection.

The collection contains typed manuscripts and galley proofs for novels and screenplays by William P. Blatty. It also contains research materials related to the Exorcist, including letters from Father William S. Bowdern (1968-1975).
