"The Artless Heiress" Manuscript Copy, c. 1957

Scope and Contents A manuscript copy of Clarence Budington Kelland's novel "The Artless Heiress" -- first published as a magazine serial in The Saturday Evening Post in 1957, with illustrations by Robert Meyers. The manuscript appears to have been copied from the original serial: it is written in blue ink in a neat decorative script (not Kelland's own) and features the original illustrations, which have been cut out and pasted into the book. The text itself...
