This collection consists of concert programs, employment letters, concert recordings, and awards from the musical career of Detra Battle, 1979 to 2023. It covers: local Washington DC music competitions, national awards competitions, and religious choral music in Washington DC.
The Constantin Kluge - Pierre Leroy collection consists of 34 personal, autograph signed letters from Father Leroy to his friend Constantin Kluge, in addition to first-hand background information provided by Kluge on his acquaintance with Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and his circle (especially Pierre Leroy and Claude Riviere). A complete typed transcription of the 34 letters has been graciously provided by Mme. Solange Soulie, a close friend of Pierre Leroy.

Letters, postcards, notes, photos, and newspaper clippings removed from books that are a part of the library of Charles Augustus Strong once at the Villa Le Balze, now at the Booth Family Center for Special Collections. These books likely belonged to George Santayana, as the letters and postcards to him seem to indicate. Titles and call numbers of the associated books in the rare books repository are identified in the folder.
