Found in Notes:  Mention of a fierce cavalry fight at Aldie, Virginia, between Alfred Pleasanton and Jeb Start, whose forces were reported to be driven through Middleburg, Virginia and Upperville, Virginia and then to Ashby's Gap, Virginia; Miller says he copied the telegram from George Gordon Meade about the incident. Miller goes on to describe his unit's march through Manassas Junction to Centreville, Virginia.
