Foley, Charles J., 1912 - 1914

Scope and Contents

Charles J. Foley (1892-1969) was born in Jersey City and entered the Society of Jesus in 1911, being ordained in 1925. After teaching at Fordham University and Canisius College, he was stationed at Georgetown as an instructor of philosophy, metaphysics, and psychology (1931-1951). Between 1951 and 1969 he was director of university development at Georgetown. This folder includes retreat notes from his Jesuit formation at St. Andrew-on-Hudson.
