School log book of student attendance for St. Mary's Mixed (Catholic) School, Cresswell, Staffordshire, England, beginning June 29, 1863 and ending June 19, 1902. Printed title with autograph entries in various hands. Maintained by the principal teacher. Dealer's note: This log book is particularly interesting as it is for a Catholic school in a community where the local lords of the manor, the Draycotts, refused to accept the Anglican religion at the Reformation.

Graham Greene Papers

The Graham Greene Papers include Greene's diaries and journals from his trips to Vietnam, Cuba, Panama, South Africa, Poland, Kuala Lampur, Kenya, and Haiti. Also present are manuscripts by Greene for "Monsignor Quixote" and "Getting to Know the General." There is some correspondence with Evelyn Waugh. Ephemera and clippings round out the collection.

The Barnes Collection is the photographic morgue file of the Barnes Company, which specialized in the production of albums reproducing the faces and giving capsule biographies of members of Congress during the latter part of the nineteenth century. The collection includes 501 imperial carte de visite photographs, principally of members of Congress from 1872 to 1876, many of the photographs being embellished by added signatures trimmed from letters or other documents.
