Correspondence, memoranda, minutes, printed material and photographs concerning Phillips Temple's national chairmanship of "Catholic Book Week" in February, 1949. The program was sponsored annually by the Catholic Library Association to "stimulate the reading and writing of Catholic literature in various forms." Temple served as librarian of Riggs Memorial Library at Georgetown University from 1937 to 1954.

Correspondence, photographs, memorabilia, and other materials comprise the papers of this famous syndicated Washington columnist for (at various times) Christian Science Monitor, New York Herald Tribune, and the Los Angeles Times. The collection includes, in the form of clippings, a substantial number of Drummond's columns, together with correspondence from W. Averell Harriman, J. Edgar Hoover, Lyndon Johnson, Alf Landon, Dean Rusk, and Wendell Willkie, among others.
The Russell B. Shaw Papers comprise 4.5 linear feet consisting of 43 folders arranged in three boxes. The papers consist almost exclusively of manuscripts of eight books written by Shaw and two books co-authored by C. A. Koob and Germain Grisez.

Correspondence and documents concerning the family of Captain and Mrs. Frederick Marcey Lynde. The papers primarily concern Captain Lynde's petition for longevity pay after his discharge from the army in June 1862, as well as the Sasser family's claims to compensation for damages sustained to their farm during the Civil War.
