The collection consists of seven letters written by political or criminal prisoners of the Nazi regime who resided in the Auschwitz camp system. The authors of these letter were prisoners who had the “privilege” of receiving and sending censored mail. Unlike the majority of the prisoners in the Auschwitz camp complex, these prisoners were allowed mail and food parcels. Scope and Contents
2 albums amincorum that likely belonged to students at the University of Jena (Germany) in the late 18th century. The albums include autographs and quotations in Latin and German. The binding on one volume is stamped "1755." The other volume includes pressed illustrations of the University of Jena ("Collegium Ienense"). The inside cover of that volume is signed by Martinus Theodorus Rhodius.
