Primarily comprised of plans, maps, directories, reports, and studies of various agencies, commissions, task forces, associations, and interest groups engaged in the urban planning of the capital area, as well as miscellaneous ephemera consisting of event-related ephemera (invitations, brochures, menus, tickets, etc.), park and monument brochures, gallery show catalogs, playbills, etc.

The Evelyn Waugh - Mary Lygon Letters consist of over eighty letters sent from English Catholic novelist Evelyn Waugh to his close friend Lady Mary Lygon. Providing good documentary material about Waugh's life, the letters discuss mutual friends, travel, and other aspects of Waugh's life. The letters are contained in 83 archival folders in one archival box (0.5 linear feet).

The Carl Wheeless Papers represent the research files created by Carl Wheeless for his book "Landmarks of American Presidents: A Traveler's Guide," published in 1996. Included are manuscripts, photographs, and promotional material relating to writing and publication of the book. Also contained is his autobiography "Steps to the Goal and Beyond to the Calling" from 2001.
