The John Bannister Tabb Papers consist of more than 40 letters, manuscripts, and cards sent from Fr. Tabb to Dr. Thomas R. Price and Price's family. The letters touch on Fr. Tabb's poetry and publishing matters. A few poems by Fr. Tabb are found among the documents. Most of the letters were sent by Fr. Tabb from St. Charles College in Ellicott City, Maryland. Correspondence, memoranda, minutes, printed material and photographs concerning Phillips Temple's national chairmanship of "Catholic Book Week" in February, 1949. The program was sponsored annually by the Catholic Library Association to "stimulate the reading and writing of Catholic literature in various forms." Temple served as librarian of Riggs Memorial Library at Georgetown University from 1937 to 1954.
