One ledger with material re exhibitions, 1850 and 1851. Programs, a prospectus, and regulations are glued to first pages. A note at the beginning reads: "The contents of this Book have been collected for the use of those who may hereafter be charged with the laborious task of superintending the exhibitions of this institution . . . Some of the speeches have been written by the teacher, some by the students, and some selected from books . . ."
The collection consists of letters and postcards from Evelyn Waugh to bookseller Handasyde Buchanan, concerning books the former wished to acquire or sell.
The Evelyn Waugh - Mary Lygon Letters consist of over eighty letters sent from English Catholic novelist Evelyn Waugh to his close friend Lady Mary Lygon. Providing good documentary material about Waugh's life, the letters discuss mutual friends, travel, and other aspects of Waugh's life. The letters are contained in 83 archival folders in one archival box (0.5 linear feet).
The Rev. Edward Holker Welch, SJ Papers are in the main comprised of Fr.Welch's spiritual writings. Some of Fr. Welch's diaries also are contained within the collection, as well as material gathered by Fr. John A. Corbett,SJ for a projected biography of Fr. Welch.
