Timothy S. Healy, S.J.: A Commonplace Book

The 1993 edition was printed as a commemorative publication on the occasion of the Spring Faculty Convocation, April 24, 1993. The second edition, printed as a 2009 John Carroll Weekend commemorative gift, was presented at a New York Public Library reception on April 17, 2009, to honor the life and work of President Healy.

Scope and Contents One ledger with material re exhibitions, 1850 and 1851. Programs, a prospectus, and regulations are glued to first pages. A note at the beginning reads: "The contents of this Book have been collected for the use of those who may hereafter be charged with the laborious task of superintending the exhibitions of this institution . . . Some of the speeches have been written by the teacher, some by the students, and some selected from books . . ."
