Scope and Contents

From the Series:

The series contains drafts of articles, books, chapters, etc. authored by Veatch, dating from 1971 to 2019. The series also contains related records such as correspondence and research notes. Many of the papers were presented at conferences, and some appear to be unpublished. It includes a collaborative work with Edmund D. Pellegrino (“Dialogue”). Additional Veatch manuscripts can be found in the Institutional Files and Subject Files series.

Unpublished Georgetown University administrative records may be consulted only with the permission of the University office which created it. This includes, but is not limited to, Georgetown University administrative files found in boxes 16-18 and Kennedy Institute of Ethics files found in boxes 23-28.

Additionally, documents found in Series 9: Manuscript Reviews are restricted from 75 years from their date of creation for privacy reasons.

All other processed materials are generally open for research.
