The sub-series contains records related to courses, conferences, and workshops sponsored by Georgetown University, including the Kennedy Institute of Ethics, the Center for Clinical Bioethics, the School of Medicine and School of Nursing, and the Medical Center. In particular it includes administrative records of the KIE's Intensive Bioethics Courses and the 1985-1986 NEH Summer Seminars.

Documents found in this sub-series include conference progams and planning materials, course syllabi, exams, outlines, notes, reading lists, and case studies.
