Scope and Contents
The series contains case files authored or collected by Veatch for publications such as the Hastings Center Report, Case Studies in Medical Ethics, Case Studies in Allied Health Ethics, Ethical Questions in Dentistry, and Case Studies in Pharmacy Ethics. The series includes a letter from death row inmate John L. Evans III regarding the transplantation of organs received from executed prisoners (Box 50, Folder 25).

Unpublished Georgetown University administrative records may be consulted only with the permission of the University office which created it. This includes, but is not limited to, Georgetown University administrative files found in boxes 16-18 and Kennedy Institute of Ethics files found in boxes 23-28.
Additionally, documents found in Series 9: Manuscript Reviews are restricted from 75 years from their date of creation for privacy reasons.
All other processed materials are generally open for research.
