Series 5: Courses and Lectures, 1970 - 2016

Scope and Contents

The series contains documents related to courses taught at Georgetown University and other schools, dating from 1970 to 2016. The courses address a number of bioethical issues as well as professional disciplines (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and nursing).

The "1291 Medical Ethics: Teaching, 1969-1990" folders in the Subject Files series also contain teaching files (Box 58, Folders 19-21).

Conditions Governing Access

Unpublished Georgetown University administrative records may be consulted only with the permission of the University office which created it. This includes, but is not limited to, Georgetown University administrative files found in boxes 16-18 and Kennedy Institute of Ethics files found in boxes 23-28.

Additionally, documents found in Series 9: Manuscript Reviews are restricted from 75 years from their date of creation for privacy reasons.

All other processed materials are generally open for research.
