Series 1: Briefing Books, 1974 - 1978

The series contains background materials sent to the commissioners before each meeting, including correspondence, memorandums, drafts of reports, contracts, statistical charts, case registers, clippings, and other materials.

All briefing books include tabs of correspondence and clippings received and/or published during the period preceding the appropriate meeting and contain material pertaining to a variety of subjects, including those of previous meetings.
