Materials from the personal papers of Presbyterian missionary Vernon A. Anderson: 5 handwritten journals detailing aspects of his mission in the Belgian Congo and subsequent work with the American Presbyterian Congo Mission between 1920 and 1966, and 3 bound copies of issues from the Presbyterian missionary journal The Kassai Herald dated between 1901 and 1916. Papers and other ephemera are also present, including some notes for Anderson’s work on an early Tshiluba-English dictionary.
