A notebook that contains: (1) “the division of time and its parts,” “proportions in navigation,” “projections of the sphere on the plane of the meridian, equator, and horizon,” “pneumatical principles,” and “directions for painting a chart.” The inside cover notes “1815,” but it is more likely that the contents were written in the 1820s.
