Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection consists of photographs of politicians that were used as reference materials by the newspaper cartoonist Gene Basset, dating from 1912 to 1989 (bulk 1960s-1980s). The photographs extensively document U.S. political figures from the 1960s through the 1980s, especially Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan.
