This series contains the extensive correspondence files of Kenton Kilmer. Much of the correspondence concerns Kenton's tenure as poetry editor for the "Washington Post" in the 1940s. This series includes many poems sent by various individuals to Kenton for consideration to be published in the "Washington Post." To that effect, some of the retained poems were published while others have remained unpublished. Kenton kept complete, chronological binders containing clippings of the poems...
