The papers include a large quantity of Amrine's literary manuscripts,
together with correspondence, print and near print material relating to a number of subjects, most importantly, atomic energy research and development.
Michael Amrine (1918-1974) began his career in journalism in 1934, working for a number of years with the Federation of Atomic Scientists while editing the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists. Amrine is the author of a number of books, including This Awesome Challenge (1964)....
