The collection consists of records relating to a noble family in Rouen (Normandy, France), dating from the early 17th to mid-18th centuries. Some records relate to a man named Nicolas Francois Mare. Also of note is a letter regarding the inheritance and income of Francoise [de Four], widow of Pierre Paulmier, Seigneur of Bucaille and Le Thil in Normandy. It bears a "Sun King" (Louis XIV) stamp.
