Scope and Contents
Collection of printed issues of magazines and journals on Black history, bibliographies, mimeographed speeches by A. Marcel Brown, and typed list of Black newspapers and peridoicals (circa 1943); as well as press realasees, bulletins, and correspondence on the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party and the American Friends Service Committee.

Most manuscripts collections at the Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. The collection was donated by Janice Lewis on August 29, 1978. The collection had been formed by Corina Higginson Rogers and given to Ms. Lewis while she was a student at Chaffley College.
