McRae Family Papers
Scope and Contents
Documents, miscellaneous fragments of poetry, and newspaper clippings pertaining to the McRae and Fitzharris families, originally of Fayetteville, South Carolina. Included among the papers is a widow's pension from the Mexican American War (1888); a family bible, containing genealogical notes and newspaper clippings, and material relating to St. John's Church of Fayetteville.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections.
