Scope and Contents
Lease and other legal documents concerning property held by the Lorimer family in Florida, South Carolina, and Louisiana. Documents from the holdings of John Lorimer ("Doctor of Physic") form the bulk of the collection. Included is a draft of his 1821 will.

Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Library Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections.
