Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Gift of Clifford Lewis 3rd, of Philadelphia. Property by inheritance of Miss Agnes Plowden who gave them to her sister-in-law Mrs. Edmund J. Plowden, Bushwood, St. Mary's County, Maryland. Acquired in 1935 by Mrs. Clifford Lewis Jr. and her son Clifford Lewis 3rd, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Plowden cousins. Presented in 1940 to Georgetown Library by Mrs. Clifford Lewis Jr., Clifford Lewis 3rd, and Miss Agnes Plowden.

Processing Information

The collection was inventoried some time after delivery in 1940, perhaps by Wilfrid Parsons.
