Neil F. Brennan was born in 1923. Specializing in literary criticism, bibliograhy, and history, he was a long-time professor of English Literature at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He started working there in 1960. He is now retired. Brennan published "Anthony Powell" (1974, revised 1995) and, with A.R. Redway, a bibliography of Graham Greene.
