Homer Vaughan Hervey Collection
Scope and Contents
The Homer Vaughan Hervey Collection consists of vintage movie posters and film stills from famous Hollywood movies of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Also included in the collection are film stills and movie posters from a few English, French, and Italian films from the same era, as well as from a few American films of the 1930s through early 1960s. The collection is stored in two boxes of film stills and one oversize box of movie posters.

Conditions Governing Access
Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.

Biographical Note
Homer Vaughan Hervey was born on September 27, 1936 in Texarkana, Texas. He received two degrees from Georegtown University: a B.A. in Social Science in 1958 and an M.A. in 1962. Hervey was a longtime federal agency administrator, working in the U.S. Department of Education, the Executive Office of the President, the Department of the Treasury, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Beginnig in 1982, Hervey was on the board of Georgetown Uinversity Library.
Homer Vaughan Hervey died in 2005.
