Scope and Contents

Includes a news release and photograph related to the Appleby Rose Garden at Bury St. Edmunds (enclosed with letter of December 6, 1956) as well as correspondence with publishers G. Bell & Sons, Ltd., regarding Appleby's books Henry II, The Vanquished King, England Without Richard, 1189-1199, and The Troubled Reign of King Stephen. Also contains another photograph, presumably featuring Appleby, in front of an unidentified church in Linconshire (1947).
