Letters from Welch to his sister Concilia ("Connie"), niece Mary Doyle, and benefactor Sister Louise from Libona as well as circulars to friends and supporters in the US prior to his transfer to Xavier University in June 1987. Further contains a letter to Connie from the new parish priest of Libona, Fr. Edward van Groenendael (also known as Fr. Dael), containing photographs of a fiesta Leo attended there in January 1989.
