Topics include golden jubilee celebrations (in the Philippines and in the US); construction work on the San Pablo Apostol Church; and problems he was experiencing after transfer to his new parish.

Although mentioned only briefly, Leo appears to have traveled home to New York in July and returned to the Philippines in August (his first trip since 1967).
