Letters from Welch to his parents in Webster while at the Ateneo de Manila, during his journey back to the US, and upon his return to Woodstock as a theologian, including discussion of the nascent Woodstock mission stamp exchange (March 6, December 3, December 20, and December 26). Further contains a letter from Leo to Sister Christina in celebration of her profession day in the Sisters of St. Joseph (September 1). See also a scrapbook from this period in box 7 folder 1.
