Letters from Welch to his parents and Sister Camillus while traveling to the Philippines and, after his arrival in Manila, describing his scientific work at the Manila Observatory and teaching at Colegio de San José (San Jose Seminary). Further contains letters from Sister Christina to their parents and letters to their mother from Sister Camillus.
