Scope and Contents

Letters from Welch to his parents in Webster while at Woodstock, including a letter in which he discusses the unexpected news that he will soon be stationed at the Manila Observatory when another Jesuit failed a physical examination (April 19). He describes how he will be working in the Meteorological Section of the Weather Bureau there to detect incoming typhoons.

This folder also contains letters from Sister Christina to their parents and letters to their mother from her niece Gertrude Aman (1902-1992) and Sister Camillus.
